Overview
Robert (Bob) W. Lucas has been an internationally-known, award-winning author and speaker. During his professional career spanning more than four decades as a learning and development professional and executive, he founded three companies. These organizations were focused on helping organizations improve performance by enhancing employee knowledge and skills.
Professional Background
Prior to starting his three consulting and product businesses, he helped create and manage the training department at the national office of the American Automobile Association (AAA). His efforts aided executives, managers, and professional staff in helping employees develop the skills they needed. Bob’s expertise in effective communication, presentation skills, and teamwork helped reshape the culture of that company when it went through relocation and dramatic organizational change.

Additionally, Bob has delivered presentations to thousands of people from around the world at major conferences like ATD (formerly ASTD), ASCD, and the Learning Brain Expo. Because of his expertise, Bob is frequently quoted in books, interviewed for newspapers and magazines, and has been a guest on various radio talk programs.

Since 1996, Bob has written hundreds of articles on myriad topics. He currently has four blogs dedicated to cruising, creative training/brain-based learning, nonfiction writing, and customer service. In addition, Bob has also written and contributed to thirty-nine books and compilations, video training guides, and adult learning leader and participant guides.
